Here are some words that I wrote the other day. Jon seemed to like them, and so they appear on the interweb for all to stare at, whether in amazement or incredulity. Enjoy.

The crowds drift by… (working title, perhaps)

Sitting here alone
Trapped in this crowded city
The cold air wraps around
Tightening its grip

Smoke fills the lungs
As I slowly choke
Stealing my breath
I let out a scream
But the world is deaf

The crowds drift by
Time quickly fades

No one can see
How the world crumbles
So we go on
With reckless joy

And the mothers cry
Rain down a thousand tears
At the fate that awaits her children
And they scream
But the world is deaf

The crowds drift by
Time quickly fades

Without a care
We turned our backs
Pray someone will come
To save their souls

Now they’ve all died
We awaken, realise it’s all too late
The tears fell
The screams were loud
But the world was deaf

The crowds drift by
Time quickly fades

After months of planning and preparation the Silver Wizard has gathered together a motley crew of space pirates, alien zombies and sonic warriors to form a band, to be known as The Silver Wizard Project, in honour of the great Wizard himself.

They’re armed with words and sounds and will be heading into a rehearsal studio to arrange them into wonderful ditties for your aural pleasure. In due course they will be committed to tape for posterity and performed in bars, clubs, and the outer reaches of the cosmos in order to entertain our stellar inhabitants. Thus we urge you to stay tuned to this channel for future revelations from the kind hearted Silver Wizard.
